About Judy
Judy's involvement with Ridgeside K9 began five years ago with the
adoption of her Doberman, Roscoe. With over a decade of experience
working in various kennels alongside dogs of all breeds, she always aspired
to have a Doberman as part of her personal pack. However, the dog she
initially envisioned and the one who captured her heart in July 2020 turned
out to be two totally different creatures.
After a few days with Roscoe, Judy recognized the need for professional
guidance. She then connected with Ridgeside K9 in Northern Virginia, where
she learned the importance of training based on the individual dog in front of
her, rather than any preconceived notions. Judy quickly became a dedicated
supporter of Ridgeside’s training methods and philosophies, regularly
attending quarterly refresher classes and Pack Walks, and actively
participating with Roscoe in Ridgeside K9’s fundraising events.
Combining her extensive experience as a client with nearly three decades of
expertise in logistics, customer service, finance, supply chain management,
HR, legal, and executive leadership roles, Judy is well-equipped to assist our
future Ridgeside K9 families in achieving similar success and fulfillment. She
looks forward to helping others begin their journey toward improved
communication and stronger bonds with their dogs
