A native of Winchester, VA, his journey is rooted in over 12 years of service in law enforcement, where his role as a K9 Handler became a defining chapter in his career. Aaron developed a deep connection with working dogs, shaped by hands- on experience alongside elite teams such as the Fairfax County

Virginia Police Department, the Virginia State Police, and the FBI—always with his trusted bloodhound by his side. His transition from law enforcement to the private sector was driven by a desire to create more opportunities for his family while continuing his passion for working with dogs. This led him to join the Ridgeside K9 team, where he has spent over seven years training companion dogs and helping families develop lasting bonds with their pets. From hunting dogs in his youth to operational K9s and now house pets, Aaron’s story is marked by a lifelong devotion to canine partnership. His law enforcement background, combined with his calm and committed training approach, makes him a crucial asset to the Ridgeside K9 Nashville team.
